Earlier this year, Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) announced that Singapore will become the first Asian country to implement an electronic invoicing (PEPPOL) standard based on a similar process than the one used in Europe.

Businesses are encouraged to adopt this initiative which will standardise the format of invoices and will benefit from:

About the speakers:

Mr Gilfred Chew, Senior Manager, E-Invoicing Project Office, IMDA

Gilfred has been with the E-Invoicing Project Office in IMDA before the nationwide launch in early 2019.   While supporting all other aspects of E-Invoicing, he is fully responsible for the Chain Leader programme and the grant management adoption and engagement matters.    He is actively engaged with and provide guidance to large organisation directly, as well as facilitates opportunities for collaboration among these organisations.

Mr Olivier Palermo, Director of Professional Services and Technical Support, ESKER

Olivier Palermo is the Director of Professional Services and Technical Support at Esker Asia. He joined the team with Esker in 2013. Prior to joining Esker, Olivier spent fifteen years at Unit 4 CODA as successively project manager, consulting manager and consulting Director. Before Unit 4, Olivier spent eight years as business analyst and project manager at GAM (Sofresid Group). With the vast experience, Olivier is able to share his encounters on best practices for implementation methods and advise companies on solving scenarios in different industries.
