AIR Lab is a joint lab between CAAS (Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore) and Thales, with a primary focus on developing an innovative Open ATM (Air Traffic Management) system architecture. Their mission at AIR Lab involves exploring the potential of cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and machine learning to tackle the challenges arising from the ever-increasing congestion in the skies.

By harnessing advanced and open technologies, they aim to create a sustainable and efficient Air Traffic Management system. Notably, they have achieved a significant milestone by introducing the world's first-ever Air Traffic Management Digital Twin. Presently, they continue to pioneer new and creative solutions through strategic partnerships with Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCOs), ATM experts, and academic institutions (IHLs).
