Driven by innovation, cloud services, mobile services, a number of Fintech solutions have emerged to assist corporate treasurers in being more proactive in managing their treasury operations, reduce costs and gain efficiency.

During this session, Edwin Chan, Head Of Transaction Banking Product Management, APAC, BNP Paribas and François-Dominique Doll, Partner, Global Treasury Advisory Services, Deloitte, will give an overview of the Fintech landscape applicable for corporate treasury and the direct benefits of those technology players.

They will present recent innovations around payments, cash forecasting, FX management, reporting as well as concrete cases studies and illustration of some of those solutions  

About the speakers

Edwin Chan, Head Of Transaction Banking Product Management, APAC, BNP Paribas

Edwin Chan is the Head Of Transaction Banking Product Management for BNP Paribas in Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, he leads the bank's product strategy, design, creation and implementation of cash management, documentary trade and supply chain management products for APAC.

Prior to joining BNP Paribas in 2011, Edwin started his banking career with Citibank in 1997, coverning several roles in cash management and subsequently held several key strategic product positions in DBS, JP Morgan and Standard Chartered Bank.

Edwin holds a B. Comp degree from Central Queensland University, Australia, as well as an MBA from Manchester Business School, UK.

François-Dominique Doll, Partner, Global Treasury Advisory Services, Deloitte

François-Dominique Doll is a Partner for Deloitte Global Treasury Advisory. His main responsibility is to advise corporations on treasury transformation with a specific focus on technology

With over 15 years of Global Treasury experience he has worked on multiple capital market and treasury management systems for Thomson Reuters and SunGard (nowFIS).

François has taken part in several treasury implementations projects for large MNCs and local Asian corporates working with partners such as Swift, ERP systems, dealing platforms and market data providers. He has also designed solutions and conducted workshops for treasury technology clients

In his previous role, François was part of HSBC transaction banking on- boarding team where he managed a white labelling project with Kyriba as part of the innovation lab initiative.

François started his career in Europe and has been working in Asia since 2003. He has a Master degree in Corporate Treasury from the University of Rennes (France) and is a Certified Treasury Professional from the ACT UK.
