VIVANT celebrates International Women’s Day, spotlighting female leaders in the wine industry.
What does it mean to be a woman in the wine industry today?
To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2021, VIVANT will unveil the “Women in Wine” Live Experience, a 40-minute look into the journeys that inspiring female wine leaders have taken to get where they are today.
“Our ultimate goal is to support the transition towards a sustainable future for the wine industry, and you cannot achieve sustainability without equality,” said Lina Rödin, Director of Marketing at VIVANT. “We created the Women in Wine experience to celebrate women working in wine and inspire others, to show the different career paths in the industry, and to encourage diversity and equality in the industry.”
Hosted by VIVANT’s female wine advisors who share their own stories, the “Women in Wine” experience highlights various career opportunities in the wine industry. Participants meet women from different wine horizons, like Claire Lurton, owner of Château Haut-Bages Libéral (Bordeaux), and Amélie and Cécile Buecher, owners and winemakers at Vignoble des 2 Lunes (Alsace). The experience also features a conversation with Paz Levinson, star sommelier of Anne-Sophie Pic Group.
