What does it mean to champion sustainability in this evolving digital world? Hear perspectives from Singapore's EDB, Bizsu, Sphere and ESSEC!

As global trends and the pandemic accelerate digitalisation, how do we remain sustainable in the digital age? Join us in this virtual event chaired by Arijit Chatterjee, Associate Professor of Strategy at ESSEC Business School, as he conducts a masterclass on how sustainability is our grand challenge and how we need innovation and restraint in the digital world to achieve sustainability.

Following the masterclass, in collaboration with the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, Professor Arijit will moderate a session with the following panellists as they share how their organisations have pivoted to remain sustainable in the age of digital disruption:

1) Brice Degeyter, an ESSEC alumnus and General Manager of Bizsu, a company which launched a campaign in 2019 to ban plastic bags in 500 stores throughout Thailand, spearheading a nationwide ban of plastic bags;

2) Erwan Cariou, Managing Director of Sphere in Asia-Pacific, which has been innovating their products since 2008 in order to mitigate environmental impact;

3) Marianne Tan, EDB's Regional Director for Europe, as she shares how Singapore's digital transformation and sustainable efforts will impact the country's engagement with businesses.
