Legrand ranked "Leadership" by the CDP
In February 2024, Legrand was included in the CDP Climate Change "A- list" for its actions to combat climate change. The Group is amongst the best companies in the electrical and electronic equipment sector to have achieved the "Leadership" level.
The CDP* carries out an annual campaign to gather all the information on companies' carbon trajectories and action plans.
This A- "Leadership" rating demonstrates Legrand's commitment to combating climate change.
In 2020, Legrand made a commitment to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030 in line with the most ambitious Paris Agreement target, aiming to limit the global increase in temperatures to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. This commitment was validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2021. The Group has also made a commitment to achieve collective carbon neutrality by 2050. This carbon neutrality commitment will be achieved by means of a 90% reduction in the Group’s greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain and by neutralizing emissions that cannot be avoided through carbon capture.
