Minister Chan Chun Sing gives opening remarks at press conference for a sectoral company visit to Marina Bay Sands for the MICE industry

The Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) sector has been painfully disrupted by the pandemic and businesses will need to look for new and creative ways to stay relevant in a COVID-world.

Ministers Chan Chun Sing and Josephine Teo visited Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre and spoke about the end-to-end solutioning of a safe and seamless visitor journey experience, and working closely with the industry to provide a trusted, safe and innovative destination for MICE events over the world. From 1 Oct, event organisers will be allowed to apply to Singapore Tourism Board to pilot MICE events of up to 250 attendees as long as they comply with the safety requirements.
