New Ad Site Offers Immersive Brand Experiences To Engage Changi Airport’s Travellers

Singapore, 19th December 2019 – JCDecaux Singapore, the number one out-of-home media company in Singapore and a subsidiary of the JCDecaux Group, today introduced a new advertising site at Changi Airport to amplify audience engagement in a novel format. The Terminal 1 Immersive Walkway is the first and only media site in Changi Airport able to display video projection, providing an immersive space for brands to connect with target audiences in the airport environment.

InterContinental Hotels Group was the first advertiser to harness the new media site’s capabilities to promote its Luxury and Lifestyle brand collection among global travellers. The 35 m long walkway as part of the media site is prominent to all passengers arriving in Singapore via Terminal 1 and leads toward the baggage claim area and Jewel Changi Airport. Comprising a pair of identical passages with images projected on one side of the walls, the site was designed to accommodate full length 4K high-resolution videos coupled with impactful static visuals that create an effective medium for brand storytelling.
