SG independent agency JOLT appoints new general manager

Singapore independent agency, JOLT Digital, has created a new role as general manager and hired industry veteran Jason Tan (pictured) for the position. Tan will report to Seb Lepez, founder and CEO of JOLT.

Tan carries with him 16 years experience across many agencies, including Universal McCann, Neo Ogilvy, Zenith and most recently Publicis Media. He has held different roles and functions across his career from media strategist to driving growth to executing innovations for regional and local clients.

As executive director at Zenith Singapore, Tan was responsible for delivering communication strategies and business results growth for key clients like Nestle, UOB, EDB and STB. He was at Zenith for almost six years, as gleaned from his LinkedIn profile.

Prior to driving the strategy and client management portfolios, Tan was head of Newcast, the branded content and social division of Zenith Singapore, where he actively expanded the division’s capabilities into areas of sponsorships, production and influencer marketing.

Most recently, he was the APAC regional lead for Meta where he took on the responsibility of leading key regional markets to support the adoption of Meta platforms and hardware.

JOLT's founder and CEO, Seb Lepez said that the ability that Tan has in combining strategy, clients servicing and coaching a team made him the obvious choice for this newly created position. "On top of that, Tan brings this growth mindset and experience which is cherry on the cake," Lepez added.

“It’s an honour to lead this dynamic and talented JOLT team and I’m tremendously excited to accelerate our growth through our game-changing DNA”, said Tan.

The creation of this new role is the result of strong growth for JOLT, the statement said. Not only the agency grew strongly in terms of financial results but also in terms of people as they are now 15 in the team.
