Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa’s assistant director of food and beverage Michael Lee inducted as Maitre-Caveau to the confrerie du sabre dór

We are pleased to announce the induction of Michael Lee as the resident Maître-Caveau at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa. Mr Lee, the Resort’s Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, brings extensive experience and knowledge to the position, having spent many years in the dining and hospitality industry.

As the resident Maître-Caveau, Mr Lee is now an official representative of the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or (The Brotherhood of The Golden Sabre) at the Resort, where he can perform the Sabrage – a technique for opening a bottle of champagne with a sabre.

With this appointment, the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa is also a member of the Caveau, an establishment that is friendly to the art of the Sabrage. We look forward to welcoming both resident and travelling Sabre d’Or members to Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.
