ST Forum Letter Reply – Businesses committed to Singaporean Core
In response to a forum letter that was published in the Straits Times on 27 Feb (see below), Singapore Business Federation (SBF) issued a reply to the letter co-signed by ASME, RAS, SHA, SMF, SNBA and SRA, to correct the misperceptions, emphasize that the vast majority of companies are committed to fair hiring and employment practices and reiterate the need to augment the Singaporean core with foreign employees.
In line with SBF's advocacy on fair hiring and employment practices, we will continue to engage the public and business community whenever the opportunity arises.
