The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore Signs Strategic MOU with AI Singapore to Advance AI Innovation for French Companies
Singapore, 30 May 2025. The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS) is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AI Singapore, witnessed by Ms Josephine Teo, Minister for Digital Development and Information and Minister-in-charge of Smart Nation and Cybersecurity, Singapore, and Ms Clara Chappaz, Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs, France.
The signing took place during the France–Singapore Frontier Technologies Forum 2025, held as part of the French Presidential State Visit and in celebration of the 60th anniversary of bilateral relations between France and Singapore.
This strategic partnership aims to leverage the newly launched AI Apprenticeship Programme for Industry (AIAP-Industry) https://aiap.sg/industry, with the objective of developing an initial ten Artificial Intelligence Proofs of Concept (AI POCs) for French companies operating in Singapore.
Through this collaboration, the FCCS reaffirms its commitment to accelerating innovation, fostering skills development, and supporting the digital transformation of the French business community in Singapore. By connecting companies with emerging tech capabilities, this initiative marks a key step toward strengthening France–Singapore cooperation in the field of trusted and applied AI.
