Tips for Better E-waste Disposal

There is no denying that tech greatly improves our lives, but our rapid consumption of tech devices and lack of proper recycling knowledge has created a big issue – e-waste! Singapore generates about 60,000 tonnes of e-waste a year, and this number is only expected to increase with time.

Not only does e-waste contain valuable and scarce materials such as silver and gold, there are also small amounts of harmful substances such as cadmium and lead that could potentially harm our environment when disposed of improperly.

This World Environment Day, let us do our part to protect the environment with these disposal tips. Share this post to spread the word and check out Repair Kopitiam to learn how to repair your devices instead of disposing them.
