Our world is on the cusp of a new era, and on this occasion, we will embark on a journey to explore the multifaceted realm of AI, its current accomplishments, future potential, ethical considerations, and the role it will play in shaping the destiny of humanity.
It was less than a year ago that OpenAI launched its language model ChatGPT which now has over 100 million users and generated 1.6 billion visits only in June 2023. We are all affected, AI will change the way we work, how we learn, and our society’s institutions – we cannot even fathom the extent yet. According to media articles, over 5000 new AI tools were released in the first half of 2023!
What are some of the tools we can use today, and what are the first experiences? What are the main questions about responsible AI?
Our first speaker, Zsofia Balatoni is the founder of multiple award-winning international strategic communication agency Rothman & Roman. The agency has already adopted some tools in their daily work, and through their Brussels office, they are also following the latest developments in EU regulation around AI. Zsofia will share experiences and explore both the practical and some of the ethical questions of AI usage.
Lauren Myers-Cavanagh leads Microsoft’s communications in Asia as Senior Director Communication and is part of the global leadership team. Microsoft is partnering with Open AI as part of their mission to help every person and organization on the planet to achieve more. How does AI help to accomplish this mission? What tools does Microsoft offer and what are the first experiences in an enterprise environment? What is Microsoft’s approach to using AI responsibly? Lauren can share the latest developments, plans and a unique insider view of one of the world’s largest AI powerhouses.
