Join us to for an insightful site visit of Quantum research laboratory : IRL MajuLab (NTU).

It is nowadays possible to bring a gas of atoms to (or close to) the absolute zero temperature. At such extreme regime, the matter is mainly governed by the law of quantum mechanics leading to physical properties fundamentally different than matter at room temperature.

We will explain what are the scientific and technological motivations that drive our research in this “ultracool” dimension, where the dreams of Einstein, Bohr or Feynman become reality.

Join us to for an insightful site visit, where researcher will share NTU’s ambitions and will invite you to be part of an unique quantum experience of laser cooling technology : “Ultracold Matter”.

Programme:

•Introduction to Quantum lab fundamentals + Lab ambition

•Site visit  + Live “Ultracold atoms” Quantum experience : laser cooling technology (absolute zero temperature)

•Conclusion

•Q&A
