CNRS and HTX Sign a Letter of Intent

The Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), represented by Prof. Antoine Petit, President and CEO of CNRS, and the Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) of Singapore, represented by Mr Tsan Chan, Chief Executive of HTX, have signed a Letter of Intent on 30 May 2025.

This agreement marks a significant step forward in strengthening collaboration between CNRS and HTX in the areas of foundational and translational research, with a focus on talent exchange and the development of public safety applications.

The signing builds on an earlier Research Collaboration Agreement established in February 2025 between CNRS@CREATE—CNRS’s only overseas subsidiary—and HTX. That partnership focuses on advancing urban modelling and simulation tools to support Singapore’s future city planning and safety initiatives.

Together, CNRS and HTX reaffirm their shared commitment to innovation and scientific excellence in support of national and urban resilience.
