ENGIE Power Volvo with Solar

It’s official, Volvo Group Singapore's building at Joo Koon is now solar-powered!

ENGIE celebrated the successful launch of Volvo’s new rooftop solar system in a commissioning ceremony attended by Mr David Bazyn (MD, Volvo Group Singapore), Mr Muralidharan Angadu (MD, Volvo Construction Equipment), Mr Thomas Baudlot (CEO Energy Solutions APAC, Country Head Southeast Asia, ENGIE South East Asia) and Mr Ang Soo Hock (CEO, ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd). The system, which has a capacity of 891.62kWp and is composed of 1,636 solar modules, was successfully installed by ComfortDelGro ENGIE Solar.

The new solar system is projected to avoid 10,868 tons of CO2 emissions over 25 years, which is equivalent to the CO2 absorption of 543,428 rain trees.
