HR Club - Breakfast Meeting September -Navigating the Complexities of a Global HR Role
After a long summer break, the HR Club reconvened to discuss Navigating the Complexities of a Global HR Role. A special thank you to Elodie Maertens, HR Director for APAC & Growth Markets at LivaNova, for sharing her valuable insights and experiences, which set the stage for a lively and productive discussion.
We delved into key topics such as legal and regulatory compliance, managing and recruiting global talent, the influence of cultural differences on HR practices, overcoming communication barriers, and the challenges posed by different time zones. Additionally, we explored career growth opportunities in a global context and the balancing act between extensive travel, calls, and personal commitments.
It was clear that many members shared similar experiences, making this session a valuable opportunity to exchange tips, best practices, and common concerns.
The FCCS HR Club is a “by invitation only“ Club and represents a community of professionals and experts committed to sharing best practices and expanding their knowledge on various topics relating to HR management in the region. It is a great forum to meet and network with like-minded individuals.
