Interview with Geraldine Gauthier, W2P Consulting

What is your background?

After graduating in Business from Paris Dauphine University and the London School of Economics, I started my career in Finance where I held various positions focussed on strategic projects and team development in Paris, Hong Kong, London and Singapore.

During all those years, I have always been a very active person, practicing yoga, running and racing triathlons, and I realised that I could take my performance and achievement to the next level, personally and professionally, by being physically energized, emotionally connected and mentally focussed.

I looked at various studies and surveys in the fields of neuroscience, behavioural psychology and sports medicines and the results encourage me to go further and develop an approach to develop mental, emotional and physical skills congruently to thrive in our fast-paced society.

This is how my W2P “Wellness to Performance” Journey started.

A few words about your business

I have created W2P Consulting (w2pconsulting.com Wellness to Performance), a one-stop coaching boutique to help executives develop their potential (mental, physical and emotional), team improve their cohesion and employees learn about performance, change management and energy management in and out of the workplace.

My coaching boutique offers various experiential programmes tailored to the needs of my clients:

  • 360° Executive Coaching

  • 360° Career Coaching

  • Team Training & Coaching

  • Wellness Workshops

What was the most difficult challenge to overcome on your entrepreneurial journey?

Sharing my ideas with me, myself and I! My internal dialogue got hectic sometimes. I have now created my own ‘ecosystem’ and developed a network of like-minded individuals that really helps. The FCCS is great for that by the way.

What are the next steps for your company?

At this stage, I am looking to develop more partnerships with companies to enhance their Employee Value Proposition (EVP) with tailored training & coaching programmes focussed on performance, engagement and wellbeing.

I strongly believe that people are the biggest asset an organisation has and that unlocking the untapped potential locked inside employees can provide a considerable return on investment.

A few tips for new entrepreneurs?

Meet people, take risks, share experiences, collaborate!
