ONE Pass Holder and Spouse Status
What is ONE Pass?
The ONE Pass (Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass) is for top talent foreigners who:
> earned for the past year or will earn in Singapore a fixed monthly salary (= fixed monthly salary + fixed monthly allowances; bonus and variables not included) equivalent to SGD 30,000 from 1 established company;
OR
> have outstanding achievements in sports, arts and culture, academia and research.
Only the ONE Pass holder can set up and run his/her own business and/or work simultaneously for several employers/companies in Singapore.
However, the spouse of a ONE Pass holder can get a 5-year Dependant’s Pass (DP) and can work as an employee with a simple LOC (Letter of Consent). A LOC is a work pass tied to the DP, easier to get for a prospective employer (no minimum salary, quota, etc.).
