Partnership between Circonomy and Heartyculture Natural Products

Circonomy and Heartyculture Natural Products' Partnership is dedicated to shifting practices from burning crop residue, like cotton stalks, to sustainable biochar production and application. This initiative supports rural smallholders, regenerates soil health, and advances agricultural research, all while reducing pollution and synthetic fertilizer usage.

This collaboration marks a key milestone in their journey to scale biochar adoption across India and provide more CDR on the market.

While Heartyculture Natural Products LLP handles logistics for biochar production and application, Circonomy is responsible for project monitoring and monetization of credits.

Already, 5 Artisan production sites have been implemented in 3 states. Artisan biochar producers have been trained to produce clean and efficient biochar following Global Artisan C-Sinks guidelines from Carbon Standards International AG.

In the first phase of their partnership, they aim to produce 6,000 C-Sinks.
