Past Event | EU ESG 2024: Decoding the EU initiatives that companies based in ASEAN must prepare for

​​​​​​Sustainability considerations are becoming essential across businesses of all sizes and 2023 was, by all metrics, a watershed year for ESG-related developments in the EU.

A warm thank you to Yvon Martinet, Partner at DS Avocats, for explaining the requirements to publish sustainability information subject to an evolving timetable and progress thresholds under the CSRD and streamlining the extra-financial transparency mechanism. But also, informing on how companies can be BCAM ready and face the consequences of the forced labour and deforestation regulations on companies based in ASEAN.

The main key learnings are:

  • Extra-financial revolution : CSRD/MACF/EURD/CS3D, all interconnected and interoperable europeans regulations with international and extra-territorial impacts ;
