Past Event | Green Mobility Forum Singapore: Driving the Future of Sustainable Mobility

As part of World Sustainable Transport Day, the French Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Alstom, organised an engaging Green Mobility Forum focused on the future of sustainable mobility in Singapore, aligning with the goals of the Joint Year of Sustainability France – Singapore (JYOS).

Thank you to Mrs. Ling FANG, President Asia-Pacific at Alstom for her keynote address, setting the stage for an insightful session – as well as to Mr. Yee Boon Cheow, Deputy Chief Executive, Infrastructure & Development, at the Land Transport Authority for presenting the Land Transport Master Plan 2040 to provide a greener, convenient and well-connected transport network in Singapore.

Further insights were also shared as part of the following panel discussion, moderated by Clement Charruel, VP Managing Director Southeast Asia and South Korea at CapGemini Engineering, with:

  • Boon Cheow Yee, Deputy Chief Executive (Infrastructure & Development), Land Transport Authority
  • Jeremy Chu, Head of Data and AI, PALO IT
  • Yann Maixandeau, Managing Director, Singapore & Malaysia, Alstom

The panel highlighted how technology and innovation play a pivotal role to achieve a more sustainable mobility.

Collaboration between the public and private sectors is also essential to accelerate the adoption of sustainable solutions. By leveraging digital tools and data analytics, cities can optimize transportation systems, enhance user experiences, and ultimately promote more sustainable modes of transport.

Lastly, the event featured a guided tour of Alstom's Innovation Lab, where attendees were able to witness firsthand sustainable and innovative solutions that are redefining the future of transportation.
