Past Event| Inspirational Women Leaders' Series #14
For the 14th session of Inspirational Women Leaders' Series, we were delighted to welcome esteemed speakers: Anna Domun, CIO Travel Retail APAC at L'Oréal and Valerie Sauvage, Head of Information Systems Asia Pacific (ISAP) and Global head of IT APAC & Middle East at Crédit Agricole CIB.
Moderated by Valerie Conxicoeur, Head of Member Services and Communication at the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, the discussion provided invaluable insights into leadership, career progression, and the evolving role of women in business.
Key Takeaways:
- Leadership isn’t about expertise—it’s about the right team. You don’t need to know everything to lead effectively; what matters is surrounding yourself with the right people.
- Confidence and self-worth start from within. The biggest barriers are often self-imposed, so invest in building your own belief in yourself.
- Let go to be fully present. You can’t control everything, but by focusing on what truly matters, you can be more efficient at work and more present in your personal life.
- Put yourself at the center. Prioritize self-awareness, continuous learning, and skill development. Understanding business dynamics and corporate politics will help shape your journey.
- Align your work with your values. Choose a company that resonates with your principles. If the culture or workload no longer aligns, it may be time for a change.
A heartfelt thank you to Valerie, Anna, and Valerie for their inspiring contributions and to everyone who joined us for this engaging conversation.
