Past Event | Inspirational Women Leaders’ Series #15
For the 15th edition of our “Inspirational Women Leaders’ Series”, we had the pleasure of welcoming two accomplished speakers: Ley Hoon QUAH, Group Chief Corporate Officer at CapitaLand, and Florence Inumaru, SEA Brand Director at Boucheron.
In an intimate and candid conversation, both leaders shared reflections on their personal journeys, the challenges they’ve faced, and how they continue to champion diversity and gender equality in their industries.
Key learnings:
- Leadership Is About Courage, Not Perfection - You don’t need to be an expert to lead. Leadership is about bringing vision, taking initiative, and having the courage to step into new challenges.
- Own Your Voice and Your Value - In male-dominated environments, confidence is key. Your unique perspective as a woman adds diversity and strength—use your voice and don’t be afraid to speak up.
- Progress Requires Intent and Support - Be clear about your goals and surround yourself with allies. Leadership grows from purpose-driven action and the support of a strong, trusted circle.
- Embrace Vulnerability to Empower Others - Creating psychological safety starts with leaders who are open and real. Sharing challenges and failures empowers others to feel safe, take risks, and grow.
- Define Success on Your Own Terms - Whether managing career shifts, caregiving, or personal growth—set boundaries, own your story, and take charge of your progression. There’s no one-size-fits-all path to leadership.
