Past Event | Roundtable at GITEX ASIA 2025: "From France to Asia – AI That Makes a Difference"
As part of the French Pavilion at GITEX Asia x AI Everything Singapore, the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore – Team France Export – hosted the roundtable "From France to Asia: AI That Makes a Difference" on April 24, 2025, on the main stage of GITEX.
The session opened with welcoming remarks from Carine Lespayandel, Executive Director of the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
Moderated by Caroline Guyot, Managing Director of Engie Factory, the roundtable gathered leading experts from the French Pavilion: Yves Branciard, Country Manager at CNS Communications; David Dufourcq, Director of Business Development at HarfangLab; and Florian Lang, Founder and CEO APAC at Libertify.
We were also honoured to welcome Geoff Soon, Head of VP Revenue at Mistral AI, who shared valuable perspectives on the evolving AI ecosystem in Asia and the opportunities for collaboration between European and Asian innovators.
The discussion focused first on how AI is driving transformation across industries, with speakers sharing practical examples from their fields – from enhancing cybersecurity resilience to optimising network infrastructure and advancing digital trust.
Looking ahead, the speakers underlined the potential for deeper collaboration between France and Asia, particularly in areas such as ethical AI development, cybersecurity, and smart technologies.
The event brought together over 150 attendees, reflecting the growing interest in cross-border dialogue and innovation around AI. This session was followed by a networking cocktail at the French Pavilion, sponsored by Schneider Electric
