Past Event | Site Visit with ENGIE Lab Singapore at REIDS-SPORE site
The FCCS held an exclusive site visit with ENGIE Lab Singapore at REIDS-SPORE site - located 7km away from Singapore's mainland - at Semakau Island.
Thank you very much to ENGIE Lab Singapore team: Xiaoyang PENG Program Manager; Jack CHIN Senior R&D engineer; Damien TOURNILLON, Senior Operation engineer; Tom PAYRE Business Developer; Xuan Zheng LIM Project Engineer; Drake KOH R&D Engineer and Maelle THALLER R&D Engineer for hosting our FCCS members at the REIDS-SPORE platform - a living lab and fantastic training platform that showcases ENGIE’s ambition and purpose - to accelerate the energy transition through the integration of advanced technologies.
During the site visit, the FCCS members had the opportunity to explore and learn some technologies showcased at REIDS-SPORE site including:
- A self-sufficient hydro panel
- 200 KWP Solar System + 200 KW/ 1 MWH Battery System
- Energy System Suite (Energy Management System + SCADA + Power Management System)
- 50 kW/ 2 MWh Hydrogen Value Chain
- 100 kW Wind Turbine System
The REIDS-SPORE platform is a flagship project that strengthens ENGIE’s goal of moving towards carbon neutrality, where ENGIE’s expertise in smart grids, industry energy efficiency, and smart cities is reflected. As a state-of-the-art, multi-fluid microgrid solution, it consists of a micro-grid that generates 550 kW of electricity and boasts the largest wind turbine at 100kW that can be found in Singapore as well as a hydrogen full chain for electricity and mobility.
