Past Event | So Chic Cognac Meets Cheese

The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore was delighted to host a special So Chic Pairing: Cognac Meets Cheese — a multisensory evening celebrating French craftsmanship, heritage, and savoir-faire.

Held in the Chamber’s newly opened space at Liat Towers, transformed into an intimate jazz lounge for the occasion, the event brought together gourmet enthusiasts for a delightful journey of taste and discovery.

Guests were welcomed with a floral cognac cocktail, followed by a guided tasting of three carefully selected cognacs paired with artisanal cheeses. Throughout the evening, attendees explored the nuances of aging techniques, terroirs, and flavour profiles, deepening their appreciation for both cognac and cheese. Live demonstrations also offered expert insights — including how to properly cut and present cheese.

Each guest left with a So Chic tote bag filled with small souvenirs, and the event marked a festive celebration of the French National Cheese Day.
