Past Event | The Value of Healthcare Data

Diving into the ever-evolving healthcare landscape, the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce joined forces to host an enlightening panel discussion at Elementum Biopolis.

Centered on the pivotal role of healthcare data in shaping the future of the industry, our esteemed speakers  Arnaud Bauer -Partner at L.E.K. Consulting, Rajiv Rana - Regional Medical Director APAC at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, Dr Suhina Singh (MD, MBA) - Co-Founder at Jonda Health and our moderator Maximilian Englisch - Global Vice President of Sales at WALDNER Group shared their invaluable insights.

The discussion included key-topics such as:

  • Personalised Medicine: Healthcare data allows for the development of personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patients based on their unique medical history, genetic makeup, and other relevant factors.
  • Predictive Analytics: By analysing large datasets, healthcare providers can identify patterns and trends to predict disease outbreaks, patient readmissions, and treatment responses, enabling proactive interventions and resource allocation.
  • Interoperability and Data Sharing: Interoperability standards and data-sharing initiatives are essential for maximising the value of healthcare data by facilitating seamless exchange of information across different healthcare settings and systems.
  • Patient Empowerment: Empowering patients with access to their own health data enables them to actively participate in their care decisions, leading to better health outcomes and increased patient satisfaction.
  • Privacy and Security: Safeguarding the privacy and security of healthcare data is paramount to maintaining patient trust and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
