Past Event | Trade Compliance & Supply Chain Disruptions
With the rise in international tensions, yesterday’s webinar was an excellent opportunity to learn more about #tradecompliance and #supplychain disruptions as a result of these tensions and what companies can do to navigate the ever-changing rules and regulations.
Special thanks to our speakers, Tanya Tang and Kala Anandarajah from Rajah & Tann Singapore who shared their expertise to help our members better understand these issues.
Key Insights:
- Supply chain disruptions are likely to occur more frequently in current times so proper trade planning and ensuring trade compliance is a must.
- Businesses to be aware of and comply with various areas, including import and export issues, export of strategic goods and sanctions.
- Doing cross-border trade requires businesses to be alert to competition, consumer protection and personal data protection requirements, be it via e-commerce or otherwise.
- To expand their markets, businesses can seek to leverage the network of free trade agreements (FTAs)
