Site Visit: Schneider Electric East Asia & Japan headquarter and Innovation Hub

This site visit brought members to the Schneider Electric East Asia & Japan Headquarter for a tour at the Innovation Hub.

14 Feb 2019 – Schneider Electric, a leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, opened its new East Asia & Japan headquarter in Singapore on 29 March 2018, bringing together multiple operations across the island to one location to better serve customers and industry partners in Singapore and throughout East Asia and Japan. The Schneider Electric East Asia & Japan Headquarter, spanning over 18,500 sq. m and home to over 1,200 employees, is a model of digital transformation resulting from retrofitting a 20-year-old building into a smart and green building by its own EcoStruxure solution. The building won the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Platinum Award and is the first office building in Singapore to be certified under the new guidelines.

As part of the launch, Schneider Electric has also established its first large-scale Innovation Hub in Asia, after Boston and Paris. This hub is a co-innovation platform with world-class facilities, enabling Schneider Electric to develop tailored solutions to optimise energy efficiencies for building, healthcare, data center, oil and gas and utilities segments.

This site visit brought members to the Schneider Electric East Asia & Japan Headquarter for a tour at the Innovation Hub, where Damien Dhellemmes, Country President, Schneider Electric Singapore and Lim Chee Kiang, VP Safety, Environment & Real Estate, Schneider Electric EAJP shared more about the journey of this award-winning building.
